Job Description
SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Plant Manager, operates the associated equipment to produce quality masonry concrete products from raw materials stage to yard stage, following established policies and procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Promotes a culture of safety.Adjust machinery and related processes as required to meet quality standards.Monitor the operation of the machine, batcher, mixer, bucket, color and admix tanks, conveyors, loader, unloader, depalleter, cuber, kilns, and other nearby equipment to detect and report malfunctions.Maintain, adjust, and perform minor repairs on the machine and associated equipment.Communicate production emergencies. Maintain work area in orderly and hazard-free condition.Possess sufficient numerical skills to use a tape measure, choose mold sizes, adjust machinery, and calculate production reports.Learn the basics of hydraulics, ele...
