Summary You will serve as a PRODUCTION MACHINERY MECHANIC LEADER in the NAVAL FOUNDER & PROPELLER CENTER (1400) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will lead three or more employees performing trades and labor work. You will provide instructions to workers, received from supervisor, and begins work (e.g., by assigning the immediate tasks to be performed by individual members of the group led). You will utilize the Material Management system for ordering parts and tracking status of materials ordered You will lead the repair and installation of CNC machine tools, machine tools and industrial plant equipment individually worth millions of dollars.
