Job Description
Required:
- Responsible for the management and coordination of the feed mills processes, including intake, storage, grinding, batching, mixing, pelting, the dispatch of product, continuous improvement of the facilities performance and overall equipment efficiency and stock control.
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Production Diploma.
- 5 years in animal feed manufacturing environment.
- 2 years' management experience in FMCG (fast moving consumer goods).
- Legal compliance and OSHAct.
- Basic Employment Act and ISO standards.
- Good manufacturing practices.
- Ensure adequate raw material levels in proportioning bins.
- Ensure adequate final feed stock levels in out-loading bins.
- Participate in schedule planned maintenance.
- Check & ensure that pellet and feed quality meets specifications.
- Manage raw material and final feed line / system flushing.
