Job Description
The Production Operator is responsible for carrying out pre-batching blending and produce batches in accordance with defined processing instructions and quality standards. The role involves operating production equipment handling materials safely maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping standards and ensuring compliance with safety quality and environmental requirements within the manufacturing process.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Perform pre-batching blending and mixing of raw materials as per approved batch slips and processing instructions.
- Conduct pre-batch inspections and continuously monitor batches to ensure correct grind mix and consistency.
- Select and accurately incorporate raw materials based on written or printed instructions.
- Use appropriate measuring and weighing devices to ensure precise material quantities.
