Overview
The Production Planner coordinates demand management, production capacity, and inventory management to ensure optimal production flow. This includes maintaining and adjusting production plans based on market trends and operational data, updating planning systems with accurate information, and preparing weekly reports to track performance. The role also involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- In coordination with the Production Planning team, regularly review production scenarios to ensure order book targets are met.
- Act as a point of contact between Sales teams and Plant Production teams to continuously align sales forecasts with machine capacity.
