Job Description
Responsibilities
- Implement and enforce safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Lead safety training sessions for employees
- Monitor and evaluate workplace practices to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with management and team members to resolve any safety concerns promptly.
- Ensure that safety equipment and procedures are up to date and fully operational
Qualifications
- Completion of Safety Officer 2 training (required).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Safety Officer (preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of safety programs, practices, and regulatory compliance.
