Our Grantham based Client is looking to appoint an Assembly Operative on a full time, permanent basis. The Assembly Operative will be based within the Operations team and will assist with organising workflow and the day to day duties within a busy workshop. The Role
The main areas of responsibility for the Assembly Operative will include the following:
* Manufacture of a range of products from technical drawings and schematics.
* Hands on duties such as include welding, cutting, drilling, assembly work, cable crimping and some wiring.
* Operating and training other users in the use of production equipment.
* Operating lifting equipment.
* Collecting and delivering materials if required, forklift license would be desirable.
