Overview

A leading beverage manufacturer situated in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Production Supervisor to join their team.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the production plant is ready to execute the scheduled production plan
  • Ensure that the finish product conform to the quality standards
  • Perform quality incidents investigations with the assistance of the Quality Assurance Manager
  • Manage the technical maintenance and breakdown repair tasks during normal production, to ensure production schedules and expectations are met and asset integrity maintained
  • Ensure effective use of raw materials, packaging, and consumables to reduce waste
  • Ensure that labour and material cost are managed effectively
  • Conduct regular Stock counts
  • Perform plant walk about to identify problems & opportunities for improvements
