PGS Worldwide is seeking a Technician in Goleta, CA for a one year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This role supports the build and packaging of advanced infrared (IR) detector systems used in space, military, and commercial applications, working in a highly controlled lab environment.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Ability to follow detailed engineering instructions with high accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and steady hand coordination
- Experience working with small parts using hand tools (tweezers, screwdrivers, etc.)
- Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods
- Basic to moderate computer skills
- Ability to work in a controlled lab or cleanroom-like environment
