Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To Provides age-appropriate patient care according to the nursing scope of practice as defined by the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
KEY PERFORMANCE AREA
- Must be able to practice within your scope of practice as a Professional Nurse.
- Must have experience in nursing a ventilated patient
- Must be competent with the Hospital's Policies and Regulations.
- Lead and supervise staff.
- Attend to patient care within the Ward.
- Attend to patient's complaints.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Must be registered with SANC as a Registered Nurse with valid APC.
- Must be either ICU trained or experienced.
- Must be prepared to do shift-work (Night shift / Day Shift).
- Must be computer literate – MS Word & Excel.
