JOB TITLE
PROFESSIONAL NURSE – MENTAL HEALTH FACILITY
PURPOSE OF POSITION
To provide age‑appropriate patient care according to the nursing scope of practice as defined by the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Must be able to practice within the scope of practice as a Registered Nurse.
- Must be compliant with Hospital Policies and Regulations.
- Must possess excellent inter‑personal skills.
- Must be able to provide safe, quality patient care in the ward.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Must have grade 12.
- Must be registered with SANC as a Registered Nurse.
- Preferably have two or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse within the hospital setting.
- Must be prepared to do shift‑work (Night shift / Day shift).
