Reporting to the Chair, the Program Coordinator in Experiential Biodiversity Learning plays a critical, hands-on role in enabling experiential teaching, mentoring, and undergraduate engagement in biodiversity across DEENR.

Among the key duties of the position are the following:

Maintains and expands the zoological natural history collection (focused on both research and teaching).

Mentors students directly in biodiversity collections curation and outreach.

Manages specialized experiential teaching spaces.

Builds partnerships that create internship pipelines for undergraduate students interested in careers in biodiversity collections and outreach within and outside of Rutgers.
