Scope of Position
This position is responsible for managing all aspects of a successful program from development to launch, including timing, engineering, testing, quality and profitability. Lead/Coordinate (hands on approach).
Key Responsibilities and Authorities
- Champion the quoting process for prototype and production quotes & timing.
- Develop and maintain program budgets (costing).
- Collect/review and understand program information from customers.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining a program timeline.
- Champion of ‘design for manufacturing’ and provides ongoing design input for conducting manufacturing feasibility and Customer requirements.
- Coordinate all aspects of prototype related activities.
- Manage and follow-up on all new program testing (internal & external).
- Provide information for input into the preliminary bill of materials.
