Lead transformative social services as a Program Supervisor at YWCA Hamilton’s Transitional Living Program in Hamilton, ON.
Oversee operations, manage staff, and provide essential support for women in need. This permanent role involves supervising a dedicated team of 20-30 employees while ensuring seamless operation of the Transitional Living and Phoenix Place residence.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and oversee program operations
- Supervise scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate on social work support for clients
- Conduct file audits and reporting
- Train staff on anti-racism and other critical issues
Requirements
- 3 years in social or human services
- 3 to 5 years working with women facing barriers
- Leadership experience in crisis intervention
- Excellent communication skills
- Bilingual abilities are an asset
