Tasks and responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Progress OpenEdge Developer to help maintain, modernize and expand business-critical applications. In this role, you will work in a hybrid technical landscape that combines classic ABL development with modern API-driven architectures through PASOE.
You will collaborate closely with analysts, project managers, end users and fellow Progress specialists.
- Develop and maintain applications in ABL (Advanced Business Language)
- Design, structure and optimize database access in OpenEdge DB
- Build and expose APIs using OpenEdge Studio
- Analyze and improve performance, including queries, locking and transactions
- Integrate applications with internal and external systems
Your profile
You bring solid hands-on experience as a Progress OpenEdge Developer and are comfortable working independently in an environment with business-critical applications.
