Role & Responsibilities:
Reading technical drawings and calculating materials needed for projects
Attend supplier meetings
Manage supplier relationships
Source new suppliers to work with
Liaise with project managers and manufacturing team
Specify best materials for the project
Essential Skills & Experience:
3+ years working in a similar buyer position
Experience buying materials including plastics, timbers and metals
Good negotiating skills
Ability to read and understand technical drawings
Team player
