Job Overview
The Project Controls Specialist applies conceptual knowledge of Project Controls and, with moderate guidance from colleagues and leadership, is responsible for solving a range of straightforward Project Controls problems. They analyze possible solutions using standard procedures, build knowledge of the company, processes, and customers, and understand key business drivers to solve problems in straightforward situations through analysis, technical experience, judgment, and precedents.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary cost control or planning lead for revenue projects, overseeing all aspects of monthly cost close, financial reporting, schedule management, and performance tracking.
- Monitor and manage project financials, including annual budgets, funding requirements, purchase order commitments, intercompany transactions, and actual expenditures.
