Job Description
HS or GED; NC Driver’s License required, good driving skills, and acceptable motor vehicle record. Ability to perform basic math quickly. Ability or potential to have situation awareness for safety at all times Spatial problem-solving skills or potential thereof Working knowledge of buffers, trucks, pressure washers, automatic scrubbers, and carpet extraction. Working knowledge of best practices for the cleaning industry including chemical, tools and equipment, OSHA regulations, blood borne pathogens, and Personal Protective Equipment. Interact appropriately and communicate effectively with customers and college community Assist with Grounds and Physical Plant with ice and snow removal as needed May be required to work nights or weekends; On-call required and some travel (limited to within 50 mile range for pickup or delivery)
