NSB Omega is searching for a Project Engineer for our MAJOR Oil & Gas Client in Calgary, AB. Assignment
The Project Engineer is a technically strong and independently accountable member of the Cenovus Major Projects Facility team, responsible for leading and coordinating the full lifecycle delivery of facility capital projects from chance identification through execution and turnover. Operating within Cenovus's Project Delivery System (PDS) the Project Engineer drives rigorous project definition across Stage 1 through Stage 4 — developing stage workplans, project execution plans, risk plans, cost estimates, and schedules — ensuring that scope, cost, schedule, quality, and safety plans are established before full funds authorization. The role manages multidisciplinary engineering contractor teams through preFEED, FEED, and detailed engineering phases, coordinates technical reviews including HAZIDs, HAZOPs, model reviews, and constructability reviews, and governs procurement fro...
