Job Description
Position Summary
The Project Engineer reports to the Engineering Manager or Director of Engineering. He/she is responsible for overall project management including tooling, automation, solid modeling and launch of injection molded products/programs. This position is responsible for working with all supporting departments to successfully launch new programs meeting internal and external expectations within the predetermined time frame.
This position requires leadership skills to work closely with customers, process engineering, external and internal tooling, quality and production team.
+ Communicate adjustments to the original project timelines to ensure compliance.
+ Project profitability are to be tracked through the internal accounting project tracking system.
+ Accountable for OEE plant performance.
+ Perform as technical liaison to customers on all related program activity.
