Job Description
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, coordination, supervision, and execution of electrical works for high-voltage substation projects up to 275kV. The role ensures compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and project requirements from installation through testing and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Execution
- Manage and supervise electrical installation works for substations up to 275kV.
- Oversee installation of transformers, GIS/AIS switchgear, CT, PT, circuit breakers, protection panels, and control systems.
- Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Monitor project progress to meet timeline and budget requirements.
2. Technical & Design Review
- Review single line diagrams (SLD), schematic drawings, layout drawings, and protection schemes.
