Job Description

Job Summary: 

onsemi is currently seeking a hands-on Process Engineer. This person will lead material qualification projects for alternate suppliers and conversions (., etched to stamped leadframes and clip frames, EMC consolidation, Cu wire conversion, direct material alternate sourcing, HDLF proliferation). Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Planning, Procurement, Engineering and Operations) to ensure timely qualification and implementation. Ensure compliance with reliability and quality standards during material changes

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Procurement Team on help needed / support on potential and on-going qualification of alternate suppliers with lower cost. 
  • Initiate technical design review (TDR) requests and follow through with potential alternate leadframe / clip suppliers for agreement until closure.
