Project Engineer, Mechanical

The Project Engineer (Mechanical) conducts studies and researches and implements solutions to solve recurring mechanical engineering-related operational problems beyond line maintenance scope to enhance efficiency and continually optimize the plant’s process and non-process equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares CAPEX and non-CAPEX project justification (quantitative & qualitative), manages the implementation and monitors activities to attain the KPIs within budget and set schedule.
• Prepares required documents/contracts, evaluates bids and recommends preferred 3rd party contractors to the BIPCOM to attain project objectives at the optimum value to the company.
• Conducts research/studies, coordinates with production and maintenance superintendents and implements solutions to solve recurring problems beyond line maintenance functional scope of coverage.
