Job Description
What you will do
Monitor and lead junior engineers in developing process design specifications, including heat and material balances, design flow plans, process equipment design, preliminary hydraulic balances, utility balances, basic process control and instrumentation, materials selection, and safety facilities. Provide technical oversight for engineering contractor's work during PDP, FEED, and EPC phases to ensure consistency with company methods, guidelines, project specifications, and owner's requirements. Lead and/or perform process optimization studies to identify and evaluate capital and operating cost savings, process configuration alternatives, and safety facilities requirements. Promote capital efficiency in engineering design.
