Our Cape Town office is looking for a Junior Proofreader to join our Proofreading Team.
Job Specification:
- Proofread and edit copy on InDesign/Figma/Word/Adobe PDF
- Checking Prices/Grammages/Copy/Dates/Keylines/Store Names/Fabs/Spreadsheets
- Using RMS for prices
- Translate from English to Afrikaans and vice versa
- Ensure copy/format is in line with the style guide of the particular brand they are working on
- Providing feedback on errors when manager requests it
- Doing self as well as peer reviews
- Managing deadlines and communicating with manager if deadline can’t be met
- Help proofing across brands
