Job Description
The Property Accountant is responsible for managing and maintaining the financial records of assigned properties. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, monitors property income and expenses, and supports management in financial analysis and compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain monthly financial statements for assigned properties
- Record and monitor property-related transactions, including rent, operating expenses, and capital expenditures
- Handle accounts payable and receivable related to property operations
- Reconcile bank accounts, tenant ledgers, and general ledger accounts
- Prepare budget reports, variance analysis, and financial forecasts
