Overview
The Provincial Department Head, Emergency Medicine (PDH) is a unique position reporting directly to both the Dean of the College of Medicine (CoM) and the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA). As a member of the senior leadership teams of the CoM and SHA, you provide strategic counsel and consultative services to medical and administrative colleagues, act as a bridge builder between public need, medical training, research, medical practice, and care delivery to affect system performance with the goal of bringing research and education to better patient‑centred clinical care.
Job Qualifications
As the ideal candidate, you are a physician with a strong scholastic and research record, bringing clinical excellence in emergency medicine, and experience in an academic (or related) workplace with recent leadership experience.
