Job Description
Arriva Cymru Limited is seeking a skilled PSV/HGV Engineer with demonstrable electrical experience to maintain and repair our fleet of buses and heavy goods vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on PSV and HGV fleets, including engines, transmissions, braking systems, and steering mechanisms.
- Diagnose and rectify complex electrical faults and system malfunctions using diagnostic equipment and schematics.
- Conduct preventative maintenance checks and adhere to scheduled service intervals to minimise breakdowns and maximise vehicle uptime.
- Carry out vehicle modifications and component replacements in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company procedures.
