The **Mental Health Division** within the **East Metropolitan Health Service** (EMHS) is the largest Mental Health Service in the region, covering a diverse geographical area. The division provides comprehensive care through 128 mental health beds, which are distributed across youth, adult, rehabilitation, and older adult inpatient units.
Position Profile:
Medipeople, the leading provider of Psychiatrist locums to Western Australia, is seeking suitably qualified Consultant Psychiatrists to join the Mental Health Division across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- **Patient Safety and Quality of Care:** Ensure high standards of patient safety and quality of care.
- **Leadership and Supervision:** Provide leadership, orientation, training, supervision, and education for doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners, and other health workers.
