Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations
- Confer with staff, patients, and their families regarding diagnosis and treatment.
- Treat a patient using psychotherapeutic methods and medication, monitoring the effects of any medication and adjusting treatment where necessary.
- Develop a treatment plan according to the patient's needs and the extent of the emotional, social, cognitive, developmental, or behavioral disorder.
