Head Medical are seeking PGY3+ Doctors with at least 6 months’ dedicated Psychiatry experience for exciting opportunities based in the Hawke’s Bay region, New Zealand.
This is an excellent role for doctors considering a psychiatry career pathway who are looking to broaden their clinical experience in a different healthcare system. You will join a supportive multidisciplinary team, manage a varied and stimulating case-load, and gain meaningful exposure to Māori health within a well-established mental health service.
- Work within one of New Zealand’s largest provincial hospitals, serving a population of over 160,000
- Exposure to a broad range of psychiatry services including inpatient, community, addiction, older persons, child & adolescent, and liaison psychiatry
- Strong focus on multidisciplinary team working and holistic, culturally responsive care
- Salary: NZD $109,569 – $121,920 (dependent on experience)
