Job Description
Seeking a qualified Psychiatrist for a 4-6 month role in Austin, TX on-site for one day a week of your choice. Will be providing patient evaluations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and treatment plans
- Assess emotional, social, cognitive, developmental, or behavioral disorders.
- Document Psychiatric Consultative Medical Examinations (PCME) results for patients in accordance with Texas civil commitment criteria.
- Patient load 4 daily on average
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completed an ACGME-approved psychiatric residency
- Licensed to practice in Texas (or willing to apply)
- Current DEA license, Board Certified or Eligible in Texas
- Valid driver s license with a clean record
- Experience with PCME's and Texas civil commitment criteria
