Ifso, we’re looking for an ambitious qualified Psychology Graduate to work as aSEN Specialist Support Assistant in an amazing school environment.
Thesuitable candidate will be given the opportunity to develop their counsellingskills through co- facilitating weekly student counselling groups with anexperienced counsellor.
- Work 1-1therapeutically with identified students in areas such as self-esteem, bodyimage, healthy relationships.
- Co-facilitatestaff training in mental health issues such as self-harm, body dysphoria andanxiety.
- Gainexperience in writing CAMHS referrals, risk assessments and Boxallprofiles. Within the role you will workclosely with students who have experienced trauma, attachment disorder orneglect. Learn strategies to encourage with school refusers with ASD, anxietyback into school.
