**Job Overview**
**Description**
The Public Health Project Coordinator is responsible for serving as the County’s point person in understanding and organizing community response efforts surrounding special public health projects, including opioid response and community health assessment and improvement planning and implementation. The Public Health Project Coordinator will target innovative and evidence-based programs that enhance the health and well-being of the Dubuque Community, tracking effectiveness of new and existing programs, and making recommendations for future programs and investments. The Public Health Project Coordinator works closely with department and county management, elected leaders, and community service providers.
