Corporation of the Township of Perth East is Recruiting for PUBLIC WORKS SUMMER STUDENT (JOB ID: PW-01-2026) The Township of Perth East is recruiting for one (1) Summer Student within our Public Works team.
Under the supervision of the Manager of Public Works, the Summer Student is responsible for a variety of functions within the Public Works team operating a wide range of small equipment related to the general maintenance of municipal property, facilities and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities: Operation and maintenance of municipal equipment including but not limited to: light trucks, zero-turn lawn mowers, trimmers and hand tools; Responsible for clearing brush and removing rubbish from Township property, including parks, roadways, ditches and boulevards; Cuts the grass/lawns and trims township property including parks, cemeteries, guardrails and other areas as assigned; Assists in the maintenance of roads, sidewalks, streets and boulevards; General mainten...
