**Description:**
**Position Purpose**
The Pulmonary Function Tech will assist with the overall functioning of the pulmonary department.
**What you will do**
+ Perform routine function tests according to protocols established by the ATS including PFTs, DLCO, FRC, (with and without bronchodilators) Methacholine Challenge tests, and oximetry both at rest and with exercise
+ Explain and demonstrate testing and instructs patients in testing procedures to ensure patient’s best effort
+ Provide first level trouble shooting for pulmonary function equipment and perform quality control procedures on pulmonary testing equipment to ensure proper operation and integrity of test results
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy and/or certification as a Pulmonary Function Technologist
+ 1 to 2 years respiratory therapy experience...
