Job Summary
The Purchase Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the organization’s procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, timely availability of materials, and maintaining quality standards. The role includes vendor management, contract negotiation, inventory coordination, and compliance with company policies and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies aligned with company goals
Manage end-to-end procurement processes including sourcing, negotiation, and order placement
Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors as per company standards (including FSSC 22000 compliance where applicable)
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure the best value for the organization
