Job Description
Role & responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new and alternate suppliers to meet defined technical and commercial requirements.
- Develop and maintain a strong supplier base for bought-out, fabrication, hardware, and consumable components.
- Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to multiple suppliers.
- Collect, compare, and analyse supplier quotations.
- Evaluate supplier offers based on technical compliance, pricing competitiveness, lead time, and overall commercial suitability.
- Ensure timely conversion of Purchase Requisitions (PR) into Purchase Orders (PO).
- Release Purchase Orders to suppliers with complete accuracy and clarity.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with suppliers to track order status and ensure adherence to committed delivery schedules
