We are looking for purchasers for one of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Should have knowledge of industrial chemicals and packaging material.
- Should have connections with raw material suppliers.
- Sourcing suppliers based on price, availability, necessity, quality and logistical expenses.
- Assessing vendors and their offerings with in-person visits, interviews and analysis to assess their quality.
- Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure that they fulfill all customer requests.
- Developing strategies to source raw materials that are cost-effective while maintaining product quality and safety standards.
- Working with suppliers to ensure that they have adequate supplies of raw materials to meet production schedules.
- Negotiating sale agreements and supply contracts in ways that benefit their company.
