Your role:
To review available sources, conduct trade enquiries, invite tenders, evaluate offers and recommend awards in the best interest of the Company.To ensure quotations/tenders are properly evaluated, and to approve acceptance of those in accordance with the authorization limit.To ensure purchase orders are properly placed and endorse those in accordance with the authorization gird.To negotiate contracts for the supply of goods and services tactfully and to ensure agreements reached contain terms and conditions not disadvantageous to the Company.To negotiate with suppliers/contractors for better terms and conditions in the supply of goods and services.To ensure contracts/supply agreements are accomplished within the scheduled time frame.To analyze and prepare preliminary commercial evaluation of offers.To assist the Purchasing Manager in the administration and running o...
