We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Specialist to join our dynamic team at Sumi Philippines Wiring Systems Corporation in Hermosa, Bataan. As a Purchasing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our full-time, on-site operations, overseeing the procurement of materials and services to support our manufacturing processes.
What you'll be doing
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify purchasing needs and source the most suitable suppliers
- Negotiate contracts and purchase orders to secure the best possible pricing, quality, and delivery terms
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, resolve any issues, and maintain strong relationships
- Analyse purchasing data and generate reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement
- Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements
