Job Description
Summary of the Job The primary function includes designing quality standards, inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products, developing quality control systems, and determining corrective and preventative actions. You will also work with managers and supervisors to implement quality measures.
Job Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and implementation of quality systems to measure and report metrics including internal yields, Supplier quality, scrap, cost of quality, and warranty failure.
Work with Quality Control Inspectors to ensure compliance to standards, setting workflow priorities, and problem resolution.
Facilitate and maintain internal and external corrective action program and lead the closure of open actions.
Drive continuous improvement projects to increase productivity, eliminate scrap and reduce rework operations.
Ensure all processes, fixtures, and equipment used in manufacturing & assembly has adequate documentation.
