JOB DESCRIPTION
Provides first aid and immediate medical assistance to employees in the event of an illness or injury due to undesired event.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Observe and assess workers, staff and the work environment for health hazard/risk.
- Monitor and secure supply of first aid kits and medicines at site.
- Manage occupational and non-occupational illness and injury.
- Administer first aid to prepare patient’s transfer to the nearest hospital for further treatment as and when required.
- Interpretation and/or relaying of medical diagnosis and treatment of patient to his/her supervisor.
- Document cases of injury and illness and the necessary interventions to prevent recurrence or minimize the impact of such.
- Provide health teachings to patients/staff with health concerns.
- Provide necessary data to supplement in the monthly report.
