Job Description
Main Function of Job:
The QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring quality of goods / spools meet all quality requirements.
Carrying out inspection & testing on behalf of the quality dept.
Completing inspections in-line with L&N project team deadlines
Main Duties:
- QC Inspection of spools, welding & parts
- Dimensional inspection (Manual / Digital)
- Weld Monitoring - Verify Weld Procedures & Parameters Used / Verification of data logs
- Visual & Borescope Inspection of welds (including Witness)
- Inspection Testing Activities on and off site (including Visual, Ferrite, PMI, Hardness & DPI)
- Final Inspection (Coatings / Spools / Flange faces / parts)
