Role Overview
Orbit ISS is seeking an experienced QC Inspector (Piping) for commissioning activities in Oil & Gas and Energy projects. The role includes reviewing P&IDs and test packages, inspecting pipe installation supports, valves, welds and flanges, and performing hydrostatic/pneumatic testing. The candidate will ensure all piping works comply with project specifications, industry standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Review and verify P&IDs isometrics and test packages against installed piping.
- Check pipe routing, size, material grade, orientation and correct installation.
- Inspect supports, hangers, guides, spring supports and confirm compliance with drawings.
- Verify installation of valves, fittings, gaskets, bolts, reducers, strainers etc.
- Confirm weld quality and ensure weld maps and NDE records are updated.
- Ensure lines are mechanically complete and ready for hydrotest or reinstatement. ...
