Job Description
SUMMARY
Under minimal supervision, performs receiving, in-process, and final inspection and testing of incoming parts, first articles, work-in-process and finished goods; maintains quality control records and reports. Is an active participant in the identification, resolution, and root cause analysis of defects. Supports logging of internal NCRs and maintenance of calibration system.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Interacts with production and engineering departments to communicate changes in materials, blueprints, and dimensional changes in prints that affect incoming & manufactured parts. Prepares and submits quality documentation for manufacturing areas, including NCRs, daily VM boards,first article reports and inspection documentation.
