The L3 QC Copy Editor is responsible for performing the final quality check of manuscripts before delivery to the client. The role ensures that all copyediting work meets journal guidelines, language standards, and quality benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform final quality check (QC) of manuscripts edited by copy editors.
- Ensure grammar, punctuation, spelling, and language clarity are correct.
- Verify journal style guidelines are followed accurately.
- Check consistency in formatting, references, figures, and tables.
- Ensure technical accuracy and completeness of the edited manuscript.
- Identify and correct missed errors or inconsistencies from earlier editing stages.
