Job Description
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead corrective actions using 8-D format, fault trees, cause & effect diagrams, 5 Whys, and other tools; and communicate data internally and externally. Statistical techniques, i.e., failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), reliability failure analysis, design of experiments, statistical decision making, statistical process control (SPC), and Six Sigma implementation. Participates and understands Zero-Defect methodologies, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and other principles for various customer programs. Supports the AS9100/ISO9001/IAFT16949 quality management system requirements with implementation, training and maintenance of the Quality department operating procedures, conducting internal audits and preparing data for quality management review.
