JOB SUMMARY: The Quality Technician I, within a specified area of production, is responsible for the inspection and test of incoming materials, work in process, and finished goods to establish material quality and lot acceptance to specifications, along with operating relevant test equipment and input of related data into quality system databases, and the generation of required reports. The Quality Technician I is expected to be competent in all relevant role requirements. ESSENTIAL JOB
FUNCTIONS (COMPETENCIES):
+ Perform various testing required for acceptance of incoming raw materials and production materials in a timely manner
+ Enter data into quality system databases to document and maintain test, inspection, and calibration records
+ Work according to written operating procedures
+ Operate computer programs to generate reports and issue quality certifications
