SMEC is looking for a Quantity and Cost Engineer to join our hydropower project team in Peshawar. The role involves cost estimation, quantity surveying, budget monitoring, and effective cost control while maintaining quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review detailed cost estimates and quantity take-offs.
- Monitor project budgets and track financial progress.
- Evaluate and verify material quantities as per project requirements.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure timely completion of tasks within budget.
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards in cost‑related activities.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications or a related discipline (e.g., B.Sc in Civil Engineering).
- Minimum 7 years of experience in quantity surveying and cost estimation (hydropower experience is a plus).
- Proficiency in project management and cost‑control software.
